Job Summary: The eLearning and Rich Content Specialist designs and oversees development of online learning content. Accountable for creating courses and assigning curricula in the Learning Management System (LMS) ensuring they are deployed accurately and effectively. Works with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to develop online training material - coordinates, writes and edits content. Evaluates and confirms learning objectives through ongoing needs assessments. Responsible for design, development, execution and evaluation eLearning modules. Ensures performance and quality.(60%)
In addition to eLearning responsibilities, will also be responsible for the collection and creation of media assets deployed on our Intranet, Internet, and social media sites. Media assets include written copy, graphical, and video content. The Coordinator will work with global stakeholders and contributors in EEBG eBusiness, HR, and business divisions.(40%)
Candidate should have a background in instructor-led training, rich media creation, and eLearning development. The ideal candidate should be able to use eLearning as a key component to drive significant improvements in customer knowledge. The position works with local and remote teams to design and create learning modules. Training will be built into a blended curriculum and primarily delivered through online activities.
The successful candidate will have experience designing, developing, and delivering training and training content in a multi-regional context. Additionally, this candidate should be able to provide insight into the training industry, with a proven track record of building high-impact, blended learning solutions.
Primary Job Responsibilities will include:
- Design, develop, implement, and maintain a variety of e-learning programs that incorporate multiple learning activities
- Create and work with agencies to create storyboards/scripts and production-ready content for video or web-based training programs including advising on production
- Produce quality eLearning course material (including course design documents, course outlines, course descriptions, presentation slides, diagrams, lab exercises, instructor guides, lab setup guides, job aids, and assessments)
- Collaborate with designated subject matter experts (SMEs) as appropriate, to develop learning solutions to improve the target audience’s performance (enable appropriate course content and lab scenarios with functional results)
- Collaborate with other members of the curriculum development and training team to brainstorm, problem-solve, and review each other’s work
- Assist with managing administrative capabilities in the LMS
- Create and maintain Dashboards to show and evaluate the effectiveness of the learning modules and other tools developed
- Stay current with the internet and digital learning and rich media tools to reach targeted buyers and internal audience with learning assets
- Collaborate across all functions to plan and develop rich content assets for a variety of repurposing.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited university
- Minimum 4 years eLearning experience
- Combined experience with structured writing techniques, modular content development and/or instructional development lifecycle
Preferred Qualifications:
- A track record of designing and creating compelling, training courses for audiences that include customers and employees
- Experience in the creation of marketing rich media development: video and graphic
- Strong communication, project, and budget management skills
- Strong interpersonal skills; can interact professionally with varied audiences
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast paced team environment while seeking input from others
- Excellent Organizational skills and attention to detail
- Intermediate knowledge of Articulate Storyline or similar elearning authoring tools
- Intermediate knowledge of Learning Management Systems
- Basic knowledge of graphics and tools
- Proficient in Bright Cove, Adobe After Effects and MS Office tools
