3M is seeking a Global Marketing Communications Manager for the Drug Delivery Systems Division located at our global headquarters in Maplewood, MN. Ready to be part of what's next?
Job Summary:
The person hired for the Global Marketing Communications Manager position will be responsible for all aspects of marketing communications supporting our inhaled and transdermal drug delivery businesses worldwide. From communications strategy to implementation of traditional and digital tactics, the successful candidate will devise the annual plan and manage multiple internal and external resources to deliver superior customer engagement.
Primary Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Manages marketing communications resources to align activities with business needs and goals.
- Owns the global marketing communications plan for the Division.
- Understands the customer journey and sets strategies and develops plans to ensure maximum engagement and conversion.
- Leads programs and campaigns to target, engage and convert customers and potential customers.
- Manages the Division Marketing Communications scorecard.
- Directs and oversees resources such as advertising and PR agencies, eHub and other internal resources to deliver upon agreed plans.
- Manages vendor relationships with external agencies.
- Develops and implements an internal communications plan for the Division, working with the Division President & General Manager.
- Represents the Division on Health Care Business Group and Corporate forums and working groups.
- Works closely with the global marketing team to create key messages, testimonials, case studies, technical papers and other communication elements to deliver on marketing plans.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited university
- Minimum of five (5) years experience in marketing or marketing communications
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited university in business administration, marketing, marketing communication, journalism, advertising, public relations, or mass communication
- Master's degree in Business Management, Brand Management, Marketing, or Communications
- Experience in healthcare industry
- Experience in digital marketing
- Experience in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems
- Experience with internal employee communications
- Experience working on cross-functional teams
- Ability to think strategically, yet execute with precision to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communications
- Experience managing external vendors/agencies
Location: Maplewood, MN
Travel: May include up to 10% domestic and possible international travel
