3M Canada is seeking an Digital Marketing Manager to oversee the FiltreteTM, CommandTM and ScotchBlueTM Brands in the Consumer Business Group in London, ON. Ready to be part of what’s next?
The Digital Marketing Manager position will create and implement online communications strategies to support the CHIM Brand portfolio. This position will interact with internal and external contacts on communications, promotions, content and distribution in the online space.
Roles and Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
-Formulates and implements web and new media strategies in support of brand objectives
-Initiates, plans and manages integration and maintenance of online communities
-Writes/produces, edits and publishes web and new media content and manages distribution across the web and new media
-Ensures consistency and relevancy of brand communications online
-Acts as the face of the brands to the consumer in the online environment
-Engages and manages relationships with bloggers and online forums
-Leads all website and social media development, ensuring ongoing optimization and accuracy
-Monitors effectiveness of online programs and presents findings
-Ensures digital projects are completed on time and within budget
-Proactively identifies, recommends and implements opportunities to build awareness, expand presence, and leverage new technologies
-Reviews, interprets and monitors online data for trends and opportunities
-Researches, recommends and enforces style and content standards
-Works closely with the agency, corporate marketing and the brand team to optimize current market and consumer trends
-Partners with trade and product marketing personnel to develop customer specific digital marketing programs
-Works closely with the Business teams to identify and optimize eCommerce opportunities
-Conducts product portfolio analysis and provides specific recommendations for the product line based on social media listening
-Develop strategy and content to serve needs of channel customers online
-Assists brand team by identifying relevant new programs, products and line extensions
Basic/Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree from an accredited University
- Minimum three (3) years of marketing experience
- Social media fluency
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proactive team player
Preferred Qualifications:
- MBA or relevant post-graduate studies
- Public relations, communications, content marketing, or publishing experience
- CPG marketing experience
- Understanding of photoshop and/or digital design principles
- Experience leading cross-functional teams
- Strong strategic and analytical skills
