3M is seeking an Interactive Marketing Manager for the Electronics & Energy Business Group located in Austin, TX. Ready to be part of what's next?
Job Summary: The Interactive Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and managing the execution of interactive marketing strategies to improve the web presence of the 3M Electronics and Energy Business. This role also serves as the point of contact between business teams, partner agencies, IT and 3M Corporate digital marketing. This individual is responsible for the project management of all website initiatives, ensuring that projects are completed on time and on budget. This position also develops and maintains the website standards and ensures compliance with all internal and external guidance and regulations.
Primary Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Website Leadership: Partner with business and communication managers to establish and drive global web strategies, considering industry trends, voice of customer and business plans.
- Website promotion: Work to increase traffic to websites through various online marketing efforts, including search engine optimization, paid search campaigns, email campaigns and social media initiatives.
- Project Management: Provide process and guidance for teams to deliver programs and projects on time and on budget.
- Continuous Improvement: Drive improvements in web usability and functionality to increase conversion rates of visitors to 3M and partner sites.
- Technical Leadership: Provide technical expertise on Web, Mobile applications and/or Middleware technologies for the entire Interactive team, the business and corporation
- Team Leadership: Manage and develop team of web project managers.
- Program Measurement and Analysis: Create and maintain Digital Dashboards to show and evaluate digital performance and make program recommendations to drive to business goals.
- Digital Trend Discernment: Stay current with the internet and digital tools to reach targeted buyers. The space is evolving rapidly and requires constant immersion.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited university
- Minimum of five (5) years of interactive marketing experience
- Minimum of three (3) years supervisory experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in marketing or closely related field
- Masters in business administration
- Web and browser platform expertise
- Demonstrated program tracking and ROI modeling expertise including recommendation based on metrics
- Successful track record of managing, training and developing employees
- B2B interactive marketing experience ideally online marketing and ecommerce strategy, search engine optimization, paid search, web usability, social media, web analytics
- Marketing automation & CRM experience
- Demonstrated commerce expertise
- Agency and partner management
- Demonstrated expertise in user-centered design
- Demonstrated mobile application experience
- Demonstrated interactive/web/digital leadership and budget management experience
- Exceptional communication skills
Location: Austin, TX
