3M is seeking a Marketing Communications Coordinator for the 3M Purification Division located in Meriden, CT. Be part of what’s next!
Job Summary:
The person hired for the position of Marketing Communications Coordinator will support the marketing initiatives for the 3M Purification division of the Industrial Business Group of 3M. They must demonstrate the ability to proactively work with marketers to create communications programs for marketing campaigns and product launches including tactics such as: advertising, sales support materials, packaging, trade shows, public relations, photography and video. Knowledge of digital media including website and mobile content, and social media is important. Graphic experience preferred.
Primary Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Leads Marketing Communications activities for assigned product families/business
- Implements marketing communications programs and tactics
- Determines content in conjunction with Marketing and manages approvals with key stakeholders
- Supports marketing and sales efforts by proactively offering strategic input and tactical recommendations
- Knowledge of 3M Identity Standards
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited university
- Minimum one (1) year of marketing communications experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited university in marketing, communications, or visual design.
- Prior experience leading marketing communications activities
- Team building, time management, and self-direction skills
- Strong project management skills
- 3M Purification (Life Sciences, Industrial and Residential Water) industry experience
- Ability to lead and work with cross-functional teams
- Strong business acumen
- Effective communication
Location: Meriden, CT
Travel: May include up to 10% domestic travel
Relocation: Is NOT authorized
