3M is seeking a strong leader for the position of IT Manager, eBusiness Development and Architecture within their IT eBusiness organization located in Maplewood, MN
Job Summary:
The person hired for the position will be responsible for providing Technical Team Leadership, Strategic Counseling to 3M Business Groups and eHubs, Platform Execution, Quality and Service Excellence for 3M’s digital marketing portfolios - 3M.com, Partner Channel Portal, eCommerce, Employee Portal and Collaboration and Mobile Web Experience. Web content management, mobility, social media, product content and rich media, analytics and dashboards, personalization, marketing automation and web eCommerce are all part of the global technology portfolio.
Primary Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Inspire, influence and lead the team to deliver key milestones in line with challenging expectations.
- Develop, implement and effectively communicate the solution architecture, approach and plans.
- Outline and appoint the team roles and organization to accomplish goals and strategies.
- Champion the implementation of modern development practices and tools including the expansion of Agile Development Methodologies, automated testing tools and Continuous Integration processing.
- Champion and lead the Web Platform Architecture Assessment process and team.
- Manage the relationships with key stakeholders in IT Infrastructure, eTransformation and key external partners such as IBM, hybris, SAP, Google, Microsoft.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree from an Accredited University
- 5 Years IT Industry Experience.
- 3 Years of proven success in leading and inspiring high performance teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 10 Years IT Industry Experience
- 5 Years in software development and architecture disciplines
- Demonstrated successes leading large complex projects with enterprise visibility and resources across multiple functions.
Location: Maplewood, MN
Travel: May include up to 10% domestic/international travel.
Relocation: Is authorized within country.
