3M is seeking an Operations Analyst for Global eTransformation. This role will be located at our global headquarters in Maplewood, MN. Be part of what’s next!
Job Summary:
3M eTransformation requires an operations analyst to support critical business processes and provide technical expertise to the development of tools and solutions. This analyst will work with the across eTransformation pillars, 3M staff groups, and business and subsidiary teams to drive implementation and utilization of eTransformation capabilities. This position will deliver and support important automation tools and solutions for Compliance programs.
Primary Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Support 3M.com legal requirements involving Content Management and Intellectual Property; this includes developing, implementing and maintaining automation tools designed to enforce compliance among 3M content contributors
- Manage complex 3M.com business processes and features, including A-Z list
- Provide support and expertise for data and content gathering solutions from 3M systems and internet sites; this includes legacy product content and digitization repositories such as Good Services Data Base (GSDB).
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED or higher
- Minimum of 3 years experience in working with and supporting eBusiness platforms, content management systems, and file sharing tools
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited university
- 3 or more years of experience working with SQL Server, Sharepoint, and Google apps, Good Services Data Base (GSDB)
- 1 or more years experience working with 3M’s eBusiness platform components: Celum, Enterprise Web Content Delivery (EWCD), Business Objects 11 (BOXI)
- Demonstrated ability to develop automation solutions to common and complex business problems
- Excellent communications skills, both verbal and written
- Experience working with global business processes
- Proven ability to lead a high volume of small to medium projects
- Able to navigate complex issues and estimate timelines of project completion

Travel: May include up to 10% domestic and international travel
