3M is seeking a Human Resources (HR) Employment Brand & Marketing Leader for our Human Resources Division located in Maplewood, MN. This could be your opportunity to be part of what’s next at 3M!
Job Summary:
The person hired for the position of HR Employment Brand & Marketing Leader will work closely with the Global Employment Brand & Marketing Manager to ensure that the 3M Employment Brand presence is inspiring, compelling and consistent across various channels and geographies. Both short- and long-term strategic thinking are critical in this role for helping to further build 3M’s reputation as a unique and amazing place to work globally.
Primary Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Overall
- Elevates and integrates marketing and communications for HR to be consistent with the Employee Experience and the 3M Brand work
- Evaluates industry trends, tools and resources as well the activities of our competition in order to fulfill the role of a global subject matter expert (SME) on Employment Brand and Recruitment Marketing
- Leads efforts to help build our 3M Employment Brand presence externally within Social Media, engaging with potential employees as well as existing employees and alumni
- Demonstrates solid persuasion skills and manages differing interests and perspectives in order to help keep colleagues apprised of and appropriately aligned with industry trends, tools and resources related to Employment Brand and Recruitment Marketing
- Manages key relationships with various vendor/agency partners for ongoing contracts for critical Recruitment Marketing platforms like LinkedIn, Glassdoor, etc.
Global Strategy & Planning
- Provides global guidance and facilitates best practice sharing of internal/external Recruitment Marketing and Brand-building campaigns
- Manages recruitment marketing and social media workshops to continually educate and inspire strategic activities within our recruitment teams globally
- Works with global colleagues to help establish their local Employment Brand and Marketing goals and objectives and then assists with developing appropriate multi-channel marketing communication plans to meet those goals and objectives
Execution & Metrics
- Supports the global implementation, training and testing needs associated with the Recruitment Marketing platform being launched as part of a larger Business Transformation initiative for the corporation
- Manages global guidelines and content for socializing our 3M Employment Brand through careers stories and innovation highlights while analyzing and optimizing candidate and employee engagement online
- Manages the awards strategy for HR and leads the management and tracking our global rankings and awards ongoing
- Works collaboratively with Marketing, eBusiness/IT, Communications and other areas of HR
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited university
- Minimum 5 years of marketing, communications, advertising and/or brand management experience
- Work experience with digital media
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in a Human Resources organization, ideally Talent Management and/or Talent Acquisition
- Experience working with clients and vendor/agency partners
- Previous experience leading global projects
- Experience facilitating workshops and/or training
- Skills include proficiency with Microsoft Office products (especially PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Project) and experience with graphic design
- Master's degree in Marketing, Human Resources or related fields
- Possesses solid market know-how (competitors, trends, etc.) and utilizes this business knowledge to help train others
