3M is seeking a Community and Supplier Communications Manager for the Corporate Staff Groups Marketing Division.
The eTransformation Community and Supplier Communications Manager is a part of the global eTransformation team with primary responsibility for knowledge management and best practice sharing with global digital marketing stakeholders and the interactive suppliers who support them. This role will maintain and support the global community through strong online collaboration tools and traditional communications channels.
Roles and Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Curate content on the internal wiki related to digital policies, standards, best practices and process knowledge
- Provide leadership to determine the structure, process and platforms for eTransformation to effectively communicate the steps for the global implementation of web-based capability
- Maintain an ongoing communications program to digital practitioners about important digital trends, new developments, policy and process updates
- Establish ongoing supplier communication to endure that interactive suppliers are constantly aware of the latest 3M policies and procedures
- Maintain supplier evaluation and ongoing certification
- Work with Sourcing to evaluate new suppliers for digital marketing services
- Collaborate with Marketing Excellence and IT to ensure that the digital marketing community is supported with collaboration and knowledge management tools
Location: The person hired for the position of Community and Supplier Communications Manager will be located in Maplewood, MN and relocation benefits are currently not authorized for this position. This position may include up to 10% travel.
Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher from an accredited university
- Minimum of 3 combined years of experience working with web site strategy, design, and/or implementation
- Minimum of 3 combined years of experience with supplier management and/or communications
Preferred Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years experience with adult learning
- Minimum of 3 years of experience with web governance in a large global organization
- Minimum of 3 combined years of experience in knowledge management and/or collaboration
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Strong presentation and selling skills
