3M is seeking a Jr Marketing for the Safety & Graphics Business Group - BCS Division located in Pioltello (MI). Ready to be part of what's next?
JOB DESCRIPTION
Key responsibilities:
a. Collects information and identifies customer and business trends and needs.
b. Identifies market segments and target customers based on data. Provides information for strategic direction on customer segmentation, targeting, and on-going segment/ client prioritization.
c. Performs cost comparison analyses and prepares estimates for assigned marketing program/projects. Monitors and controls costs to stay within established budgets.
d. Assembles data for marketing plans, identifying knowledge gaps and defining options for addressing them. Tracks and reports metrics on marketing plan’s performance.
e. Coordinates with internal and external teams on the execution of product marketing programs, including promotion activities, digital marketing, pricing programs, and sales/ demo materials.
f. Contributes to demand planning (forecasting) by collecting demand information from key accounts and sales representatives and analyzing past demand trends.
g. Supports new product development and introduction efforts through data gathering. Summarizes the Voice of Customer and shares with cross-functional team.
h. Reports on pricing and performance of 3M and competitive products, coordinates in the execution of details associated with pricing decisions and programs, and tracks pricing metrics/ corridors and pricing programs results.
i. Supports channel marketing programs by providing channel-specific information, analyzing channel coverage, coordinating the implementation of channel marketing programs and tracking program execution and results.
SKILLS
- Bachelor level university/college degree in Marketing or Business Administration
- Knowledge of theories and practices, applied to one discipline, such as market research, channel/product marketing, business/market development, branding, etc.
- Knowledge of computer programs and corporate systems relevant to the assigned area of responsibility is normally required. Generally requires the ability to communicate in written English.
