Remuneration

Location – Field based covering the South of the UK with person ideally located within the London/Oxford Triangle
Territory – South of line to Birmingham incorporating South Wales

Overall Mission
The 3M UK Purification Water Group sells potable water filter systems to reduce/remove scale and other contaminants from mains water supplies and operates in Vending, Point Of Use Water (POU) and other Foodservice markets. The team has generated double digit sales consistently over the last 5 years and the business has doubled in size. The team is now embarking on further sales based projects to generate growth in Food Service key accounts.
We are seeking a territory sales representative to take over a well established southern territory consisting of Foodservice OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer), Vending, and POU Drinking Water for both end user customers and distributors.
Job Responsibilities
- Find and develop new end users increasing awareness and usage of 3M Purification water group product range across the territory
- Manage and maintain existing key account end user customers.
- To develop close working relationships with our distributors and build on agreed business plans, promotional activities, joint working and end user support.
- To manage the margin and pricing requirements in line with the business expectations
- Feedback on competitor activities within the marketplace.
- To implement and deliver on any national marketing or sales programmes
- Handle and manage any customer complaints
- Record all customer facing activities in our CRM data base
Knowledge & Skills
- Field sales experience is essential with a track record of success in winning and retaining business.
- Ambitious, leading with energy, passion and urgency
- Good communication and negotiation skills
- Self motivated and a team player
- IT literate and competent with the Microsoft office package
- Ability to build relationships and operate in a complex organisation
- Ability to challenge others
Qualifications
- Degree qualification or equivalent preferred but not essential
- Experience of Foodservice or Vending markets preferred but not essential
