The Global Category Manager within 3M ESPE Dentals Global Business Teams will be responsible for Global category management of their product(s).
Major Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
- Accountable for top line revenue and OI in category
- Responsible for contributing to business team and division metrics
- The expert on the category – market trends, competition, customer needs
- Provide leadership to develop marketing strategies and tactics for the category globally
- Collaborate across categories and procedures to identify new product needs
- Portfolio management, including rationalizing SKUs, global pyramid strategy and developing NPI strategy and prioritization
- Communicate supply and quality issues to all regions and facilitate resolution
- Consolidate competitive intelligence and develop global competitive strategy
- Construct and communicate global pricing corridors to each region
- Share marketing best practices with countries and each region
- Provide marketing input for clinical research strategy and execution
- Pricing and positioning strategy for products within a category and for family brand (if exists)
- NPI responsibility with Global Procedure Marketer
Qualifications
Basic/Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree from a accredited University is required
- Minimum of five years combined experience in marketing , business development, sales and/or sales management
Preferred Qualifications:
- Qualified ESPE Division Employees are preferred
- Previous category management experience
- Minimum of one year dental industry experience
- Cross-functional team experience
- New product marketing experience
Travel: May include up to 25%
Relocation: Is not authorized
