Job Summary:
The Digital Marketing Leads will manage planning and operational execution of digital marketing directives for Industrial Business divisional and market programs. Leads will bring together sales, marketing, communications managers, and business analysts, along with digital resources to help define, execute, measure and optimize digital programs, globally. In addition to executing digital programs for the business, the Digital Lead will serve as an eHub expert in a digital marketing functional space, like Analytics, SEO, Marketing Automation, or Mobile. The Digital Lead will report directly to the Industrial Business eHub Manager.
Primary Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Digital Lead will manage planning and operational execution of digital directives for Industrial Business divisional/market programs. Leads will bring together sales, marketing, communications managers, and business analysts, along with digital resources to help define, execute, measure and optimize digital assets. Additionally, Digital Leads will provide data reporting and analytics in order to drive insights for promotion and product/marketing content optimization. Each Digital Lead will also serve as an eHub expert in a digital marketing specialty (SEO, Analytics, Automation/eMail, Mobile)
- Work with Divisions and eHub Leadership to understand strategic plans and then interpret (where appropriate) into digital initiatives that support business strategic goals
- Global - work with key countries, regions, and US based teams with global responsibility to understand their strategic imperatives and to (where appropriate) extend the Industrial Business digital strategy globally.
- Coordinate a team of digital specialists to drive optimized content syndication through multiple digital channels (3M.com, eCommerce, Digital Partners, etc.).
- Work within the Industrial Business organization to develop new business practices and implement digital strategies. Manage process improvement projects to streamline existing solutions.
- Work closely with the eHub and division marketing/marcom team to identify sources of new content and best practices to manage data and assets for all division digital programs.
- Increase the organizational knowledge of Digital area of expertise.
- Develop dashboard reporting which encompasses key performance metrics from websites, online advertising, social media platforms, search and email to help drive consumer engagement on a monthly/quarterly basis.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited university
- Minimum of 3 years online marketing experience
- Minimum of 1 year experience working with Web Analytics
Preferred Qualifications:
- Three (3) or more years project management experience
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Interactive marketing experience
- Familiarity with HTML and basic Javascript
- Experience working with global teams
Location: Maplewood, MN
Travel: May include up to 10% domestic or international travel
