Roles & Responsibilities

This is a leadership role responsible for leading and supporting the digital technology and platforms roadmap for our consumer brands. This person will partner with local marketing teams to provide technical consultation for their online strategies and support the technical implementation of digital marketing programs while aligning to both regional and global expectations. Additionally, this individual will be responsible for all global digital platform roll-outs, digitization of product information, replication & migration of online assets and share technology best practices with eMarketers, brand marketers and business services teams. The Technology & Digital Platforms Leader will not only lead the technology team, but will also partner with the eCommerce & Digital Marketing Leaders to support regional and country-level digital programs. Your responsibilities includes:
- Research, identify, and coordinate rollout of global Information Technology solutions and business solutions platform for Consumer Business Group (CBG) in APAC.
- Take a leadership role in planning and developing a scalable and robust web architecture for our consumer business brand websites and product information management systems, analyze requirements and make recommendations to senior management and business units.
- Lead, coordinate, collaborate with regional technical teams and country business teams to successfully replicate & maintain the brand websites across the region.
- Collaborate with technology leaders across the region and in the Unites States to adapt suitable technical environments to execute regional digital marketing & eCommerce initiatives.
- Lead governance, prioritization and planning of daily website maintenance and product content refresh requests initiated by country business units.
- Drive workflow processes to deliver requested enhancements and functionality upgrades to meet and exceed business goals.
- Lead eHub digitization team to develop product content workflow processes and manage day-to-day product hierarchy and maintain quality product content.
- Evaluate and identify potential vendors and technology partners for the regional digital marketing programs.
- Keep pace with SEO, social media and internet marketing industry trends and developments to ensure we are leading with cutting0edge technology.
- Work closely with the IT security teams and manage governance processes that meets the country regulations, partners, and company expectations for customer information privacy.
- Research and administer social media tools in support of the businesses social media strategy.
- Monitor and report key process indicators to demonstrate ongoing business support of websites and product content for the region.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation on applications, processes and workflows.
- Review business requirements; translate requirements into functional and technical specification.

Job Requirements
- BE/BS in Communications, Marketing, Information Technology, Computer Science or related field.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience within information technology and digital marketing environments.
- Prior experience leading and managing IT specialists within a digital marketing/e-commerce environment and working with technical design features, architecture, and specifications related to website, mobile and online application development.
- Expert understanding of web technologies and that enable digital marketing and eCommerce.
- Knowledge of Web 2.0 technologies, SEO, responsive web applications, social media applications and emerging digital interfaces.
- Has working knowledge of technologies like PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, JQuery, JSON, AJAX, Flash Action Scripts, SOAP API, etc.
- Experience in server sizing & performance optimization.
- Passion for engaging and improving own knowledge and skills and staying up-to-date with technology trends.
- Demonstrated ability to envision web-based services that meet consumer needs and solve business problems.
- Able to analyze critically, grasp system design and interdependencies, and understand relationships between critical technical issues and apply data to make decisions.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with proven success building relationships across all levels, internally and externally, addressing needs at each level, including influencing senior decision makers throughout the organization.
- Has foresight and vision: ability to identify business/marketing needs and develop the appropriate content related to the business needs via digital channels.
- Possesses strong team building skills with a proven history of building effective relationships and teams to drive significant organizational and technical change.
- Possesses strong verbal, analytical and written communication skills.
- Possesses excellent communication and presentation skills. Proficiency in an ASEAN language is a plus.
- Possesses strong creative, resourceful, thoughtful approach to problem solving.
