3M is seeking a Supply Chain Analyst for the 3M ESPE Division located in Maplewood, MN. Be part of what’s next!
Job Summary:
The person hired for the position of Supply Chain Analyst will join the division supply chain group in 3M ESPE and will support the Preventive, Implant, and Digital Equipment Business. The person will be responsible for managing the end to end supply chain, ensuring customer requirements and supply chain metrics are attained.
Primary Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Manage the Supply Plan, the Purchase Finished Good Procurement Plans, and Planning Parameters for the Preventive, Implant, and Digital Equipment Business
- Responsible for Co-Coordinating with the Plants, Suppliers, and the Business to meet service, cost, and Inventory targets
- Responsible for Contract Manufacturing Production reporting and reconciliation
- Develops and maintains operating rhythms to ensure smooth supply chain operations, aligning supply with demand
- Provides planning analysis to support decision making
- Publishes and presents service and inventory metrics, results, and gap analysis
- Actively manage working and non-working inventories in assigned businesses to maintain compliance and achieve inventory investment targets
- Works with the Business Team to review and identify portfolio improvement opportunities
- Support the planning for new product introduction through effective scheduling and procurement for experimentation
- Identify and implement supply chain process improvement projects
- Business transformation readiness activities and projects as assigned
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited university
- Minimum three (3) years combined experience in Supply Chain, Operations, Inventory Management, Sourcing, and/or Logistics
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Supply Chain Management, Operations, or Logistics
- APICS Certification or pursuing
- Combined knowledge of relevant supply chain systems and/or demonstrated ability to learn and apply systems knowledge
- Previous experience working with cross functional teams
- Demonstrated analytical and communication skills
- Experience utilizing Lean and Six Sigma methodologies
- Business Transformation or SAP experience

Travel: May include up to 5% domestic
