3M is seeking a US Segment Marketing Supervisor for the Commercial Building Market in the Renewable Energy Division, located in Maplewood, Minnesota. Be a part of what’s next.
Job Summary:
The person hired for the position of Commercial Marketing Supervisor will lead marketing efforts, and drive penetration strategies for window film into the US commercial building segment. The person selected for this position will need a strong technical understanding of the product line, and support a long complex selling cycle - with numerous influencers in the commercial spec in process. This individual will report to the US Window Film Business Manager.
Primary Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Create and execute the US Commercial Strategic Plan
- Be responsible for the annual Operating Plan
- Develop, implement and track the effectiveness of lead generation programs
- Launch new products into the US market
- Provide direction for Territory Managers, Distributors, and Dealers
- Manage the commercial pipeline process
- Plan list of MARCOM activities, including trade shows
- Build a network of key industry contacts i.e. associations, architects, property mgrs., engineers
- Design tools, collateral and training programs to educate end users as well as channel partners
- Lead an inside sales team, providing guidance and project requirements for continued success
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited university
- Minimum 3 years combined experience in sales and/ or marketing and/ or tech service
Preferred Qualifications:
- MBA
- Direct experience in the commercial building market, or a related industry
- Previous job/role with a spec in business
- Comfortable in selling situations
- Digital marketing skills in SEM, e-mail campaigns, social media, website ads
- Results oriented with strong execution skills
- Confident and effective presenter
- Ability to communicate and collaborate across a matrix organization

Sales Territory: U.S.
Travel: May include up to 20% domestic
