3M is seeking a Marketing Communications Coordinator for the Electronics Materials Solutions Division located in Maplewood, MN. Be part of what’s next!
Job Summary:
The person hired for the position of Marketing Communications Coordinator will be responsible for planning and producing technically sound communications programs and campaigns that address business and/or marketing issues identified by client and customer contacts. They will develop and apply business acumen and provide assistance and guidance to co-workers, team members and suppliers.
Specifically they will assist the marketing communications and business management teams with the execution of marketing communications projects including: trade show and event coordination, targeted email campaigns, website content generation, coordinate the development of marketing, technical and sales collateral, and generate marketing and sales tools for sophisticated key account audiences in the electronics industry.
Primary Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Leads product and application literature development and coordination
- Develops and implements website content
- Executes copy approval process
- Supports and manages event preparation and logistics coordination
- Oversees Organization and management of digital assets
- Assists with the management of project invoicing and budget management
- Willingness to be flexible and has a high appreciation for a hands-on approach to executing marketing communications tactics
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited university
- Minimum three (3) years experience in business to business marketing communications
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higer in communications and/or journalism from an accredited university
- Experience working in the electronics industry
- Experience in copywriting with an emphasis on writing for digital platforms for a sophisticated technical audience
- Digital marketing experience executing targeted campaigns to technical audiences
- Event and trade show coordination for events of all scales
- High level of project management skills
- Detail oriented and highly efficient
- Ability to work well independently or as part of a team
Location: Maplewood, MN
Travel: May include up to 10% domestic travel
Relocation: Is not authorized
