3M is seeking a Market Development Supervisor for the Commercial Solutions Division located at our global headquarters in Maplewood, MN. Ready to be part of what's next?
Job Summary:
The person hired for the position of Market Development Supervisor will be responsible for driving profitable growth for our US Cleaning Tools Portfolio including our Easy Clean platform of products. In addition, this individual will have responsibility for leading the U.S. Cleaning Tools Product Portfolio Team (PPT) as well as driving prioritized eNPI (New Product Introduction) projects.
Primary Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Drives profitable growth for product portfolio
- Leads development of marketing plans and tactics that enable sales plan attainment
- Lead Product Portfolio Team (PPT)
- Works cross-functionally to identify and assess new product opportunities while managing marketing timelines and deliverables to commercialize new products
- Conducts competitive intelligence
- Works with channel team to ensure tools and programs are in place that engage distribution and enable faster product sell-in
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited university
- Minimum of four (4) combined years of marketing and/or sales experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- MBA or Master's degree or higher in marketing, business or strategy from an accredited university
- Experience in Jan/San (Janitorial / Sanitary Supply) Industry with knowledge of cleaning and facilities maintenance
- Effective communication and presentation skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated business and financial acumen with strong analytical skills
- Ability to work and influence cross-functionally
- Results oriented with strong process and execution skills
- Ability to manage to a timeline despite setbacks and challenges
- Digital savvy
Location: Maplewood, MN
Travel: May include up to 10% domestic travel
Relocation: Is authorized
