3M is seeking a Digital Video Experience Specialist for the Media Solutions Department located at our global headquarters in Maplewood, MN. Ready to be part of what's next?
Job Summary:
The person hired for the position of Digital Video Experience Specialist will provide consultation and project management for web based, interactive video productions, to include 3M TV WebStreams and Virtual Events. In addition to improving employee awareness of new video based digital technologies.
Primary Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Evaluate and interpret project strategic and content objectives and requirements and the counsel marketing and communications clients and corporate executives in the use of effective methods for high-profile and strategic communications for internal and external audiences.
- Plan and direct production activities; including selection and direction of a contracted producer. Establish and monitor the production schedule and budget.
- Develop communications, training materials and programs to improve employee awareness of new digital production processes, platforms and video standards for globalizing 3M’s video content.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited university
- Minimum of five (5) years media production experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited university in Communications
- Demonstrates strong written and verbal communications
- Team and project management skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
- Broad working knowledge in video production, streaming technology, media support for executives, videoconferencing, digital file formats, video storage and manipulation, and Intranet and Internet applications.
Location: Maplewood, MN
Travel: May include up to 5% domestic travel
Relocation: Is not authorized
