Job Summary:
The person hired for the position of eLearning Operations Coordinator will implement and maintains the eLearning systems and platforms for the 3M Health Care organization, partnering with IT and vendors partners to optimize use and execution of the platforms, and will provide operational expertise and coaching for related content posted to the platforms.
This position requires strong communication skills, expertise coaching and training on platform systems for novice users, and experience executing programs in online content management systems, eLearning (LMS) systems, or related platforms. Strong project management skills are required, especially with large scale content migrations or eLearning content executions.
Primary Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Operations management - systems and platforms:
Responsible for partnering with IT and vendor to maintain SAAS (software as a service) eLearning platforms for the organization, communicating system upgrades and impacts on the business, and for managing the organization's internal processes and related improvement projects to execute eLearning programs and content effectively.
Responsible for organization administration of platforms, including user management and training, internal performance reporting, and managing external customer issues and queries relating to platforms.
Also responsible for eLearning user data management, including permissions, trouble shooting, certification management and related user needs.
eLearning Content execution and training:
Responsible for administration of eLearning content on the LMS platforms (courses, webinars, videos, etc), including training eHub and divisions users on platform; may include posting LMS content for divisions, and execution of provided site design elements and content.
Some HTML and graphic design editing may be required. Also responsible for coordinating content hierarchies and categories with divisions, and for executing and setting up these categories in platforms. Responsible for defining business rules relating to courses, certification programs and related education, and for system managements.
Partners with divisions on inbound traffic campaigns and related promotions links to ensure maximum use and access.
Thought leadership:
Provides organization support and counsel on eLearning operations, including business operations and process improvements. Coaches divisions on improvements to education content based on user insights and preferences.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited university
- Minimum of 3 years combined experience with administering learning content on websites utilizing eLearning systems, content management systems and/or Learning Management Systems (LMS) operations
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited university in Marketing, Marketing Operations, Information Technology Systems or Digital Content Management
- Strong working knowledge of digital content management systems [Content Management System (CMS), Digital Asset Management (DAMs)]
- Strong project management and digital marketing operations experience
- Good communication skills
- Experience managing online customer databases and reporting tools
- Experience executing sites and content in eLearning systems (Drupal, MOOCs, Blackboard)
- Experience managing complex "permission based" sites
- Some experience in HTML, graphic editing, video editing
Location: Maplewood, MN
Travel: May include up to 10% domestic travel
